thebrokernews presents the first podcast with Mirela Dimofte and Binci Heeb today. It will be released every two weeks in the future on a wide range of topics.
You can find the podcasts on Spotify, YouTube, Apple and Google. In the first episode, Mirela and I talk about the topics that will be covered in the next episodes.
In today’s episode, we will also address the topic of ‘depression’, among other things. I will also talk about myself and share things that are unfortunately still a taboo today and which, in my opinion, should definitely be destigmatised.
Mirela and I share not only a friendship but also a similar outlook on many exciting topics, as well as problems in the insurance industry. While we both have an Eastern European background – Mirela was born and raised in Romania – my mother came to Switzerland from Hungary in 1956 and always spoke Hungarian to my brother and me. Although I was born in Switzerland, I knew Hungary during the communist era and afterwards.
Mirela and I are separated by 12 years. While I count myself as a member of the baby boomer generation, Mirela belongs to Generation X. This means that we can learn and benefit from each other today. We are therefore interested, for example, in the 50+ and 60+ generations, who have enormous potential when working with younger people. Another example is how women can reach top positions or that you can still become self-employed at 60+.
There will also regularly be a guest to discuss certain topics. The podcasts are designed to encourage you to think about certain topics yourself and to talk about them. Mirela and I have experienced a lot, both professionally and personally, including some beautiful moments, but also some very difficult ones. That is why we are convinced that we can provide in-depth knowledge on many topics in the insurance industry and beyond. We believe in the power of ideas to improve our world and in a people-centred economy.
I hope you will enjoy and subscribe to thebrokernews podcasts. The quality is being worked on…
